LAUREN'S COMMENTS
Lauren…struggling with the collar and can't seem to pull your tutorial up. Can you help?
I chose to use the 4C22 since this is a great piece for fall/ spring. The extra weight of this fabric gives me (who is allllways cold) that little bit of extra warmth. It also looks good with a long sleeve top under it.
Pretty cute.... Perfect fit! I'm too fat for an oufit like this. ;) But it looks good on you!
Project Notes: I think next time I'll use black interfacing since the white *just* showed through, and I was being lazy and didn't go and get some. I'd use a featherweight interfacing to keep the collar light, yet crisp. I need more of this fabric!
The top is a simple design and sews up in an hour, It's been a staple for me for lounging around at home in summer, but also dresses up nicely for going out. I think I may try lengthening this design for a beach cover up.
Oh! If you'd like a copy of the tutorial for the top, please email me: Laurenfabrics-store.com
Pattern Adjustments: Made size 34 and with no size adjustments Yay! The only pattern adjustment I made was to eliminate the short collar and just bound the neckline using a bias strip.

Seriously cute. Love the wide [bell] 'ruffled' and gathered sleeves and tiered skirt - length of hem, sweet neckline. Looks great in the dark violet "Abyss."
Project Notes: I added the selvage or fringed scrap of fabric to the hem of this dress for a more casual look. ( I think it was the selvage but I can't quite remember) the fabric color didn't really suit my complexion, so this was gifted to a friend.

I made the size 4/6 with no size adjustments! It is perfect in the FS Signature finish because the fabric is already super soft and doesn't wrinkle much. So I can throw it in my car or draped over a handbag and not worry about it looking crumpled.
