MARY ANN

"I bought 5 yards to cut 6-30" long towels (before hemming & shrinking.) My first time trying a turned miter, & added a piece of twill tape from the scrap box to make a recycled loop. Making 6 for a Daughter in blue, and 6 for me in orange."

I made these towels and love them. I opted to use the selvedges instead of turning the edges to have that extra inch of width. I'm the only person I know who doesn't mind ironing and these towels are so nice when they're ironed.

I would love to do this. I saw this stripe and now I think I will try after seeing yours. They really are beautiful. You can never have too many because dish towels will always get stained.

Your mitered corners make these look so nicely finished. I'm working on my second dozen of these towels. I love them. And most of my giftees have too! They take several hot washes to soften up, but they're so absorbent and feel great in the hands.

Looks great and very authentic. Very much like my vintage collection. From another Mary Ann.
