A very simple and elegant look, uncluttered. The color choice was perfect. I must remember the black lining I would have thought the black would be visible through the white. Great idea.

Sherri, it's room darkening lining (aka "blackout")--it's a thicker white lining with black layered inside it. So...although it did change the color of the linen a bit, it didn't change it as much as using a black fabric would have.
