VICKIE'S COMMENTS
Vickie, just saw your pattern on fabrics-store and was so excited. I live in winston salem, but still have a home on euclid avenue. Your dress is lovely... I love to do all needle arts, sewing and quilting... and would love to come 'back home.' sandra
Love it!! That’s why I’ve started sewing garments- I can finally dress the way I want to!!
I was not intending on entering this contest because my little cottage is not fancy and we are simple people, but decided to show others that even if you don't live in a big home you can have a little luxury all thanks to Fabrics-Store.com.I LOVE LINEN!
Vickie, I wish I could ask you how you joined your Tetris fabric together to make your bed covering. I want to do the same but am stumped. And yes, doesn't linen make us live like royalty?! We are also simple folk but I feel so spoiled with my linen!!
I like the layers concept here. The two sheets being linen, might fit the desire for weight, without excessive heat, and can be separated in three layers on the feet, one layer on the body. Great idea!
I love these. It seems like you work mostly with lightweight linen, is that right? Chris
Stacy, thanks so much for the kind words! The collars are impossible for me to find locally also, so I just checked out ebay and found them there, in vast amounts and colors. They are attached with carefully placed fusible and hand sewing.
