EMILY

"This dress by SewCo Patterns was crafted from linen dyed with fermented pomegranate skins, then printed with a hand-drawn design in a thickened iron mordant. Once fixed, the cloth was post treated with iron, transitioning it from mustard yellow to olive."

I love your dress. The simple style really allows the dye and hand drawn pattern to shine. I shall look forward to seeing more of your work. Very admirable!

Your work (all of them) is beautiful - thoughtful design of pattern to go with design of the clothing, colors rich and unusual. So wonderful to see your work. I cannot imagine the time it took to execute this. Brava!

A really striking one-of-a-kind dress, very sophisticated and yet with echoes of tribal design. Emily must be very skilled in hand dying to have created this.

Skillful manipulation of dying techniques. You deserved a higher score. I love it.
