"Based on an illustration in the Freydal, The Tournament Book of the Emperor Maximilian I, c. 1515. This is pieced in the same way that a quilt would be pieced. It is made of 100% linen and lined in linen as well. Photo by John J. Mikucki."

This is so super awesome! Great work :)
Beautifully constructed dress with vibrant colors. Love it!
Wow! Amazing work.
As a quilter, I love the pieing you have done on this dress. The whole outfit is lovely to look at and I'm sure you receive lots of nice comments when wearing it.
Just the pieceing alone is amazing but the details don't stop there. Wonderful work! Spot on accuracy to details for this German dress and all the underpinnings and accessories.
She looks like she stepped out of a painting!

Fantastic construction!
This dress is magnificent!
Beautiful as always Aimee!!
Stunning!
I love how all the details add up... the colors and corners and feathers to top it all. Wonderful creation/recreation!
The detail that is involved here took hours to achieve. Each piece sewn with the next one shows a commitment to the project that demanded a huge amount of patience. Great Work.
Gorgeous, thank you for sharing!
Very complicated patterning. Excellent job. I hope to make something similar one day.
Beautiful, well done!
