"This is a 14th century quarterly surcote appliqued front and back and fully lined. All visible stitching done by hand. The appliques are hand sewn and then decorated with embroidery to pop out details and add reenforcement to the stitching for combat use."

I don\'t understand it, but its very beautiful. Looks difficult to sew and you did a Great Job !

This is beautifully stitched. The heart reminds me of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the fleur de lys remind me symbols used for the Blessed Mother. Quite lovely!
