"An eighteenth century linen shift, made with a pattern taken from an existing shift and sewn completely by hand using IL020 bleached. Not the most flattering outfit, but should fit perfectly under my corset and dress once I finish them."

Great work. I made one of these so I know all the hand work involved. A very necessary item that deserves more attention!

Completely handsewn? Wow, props to you! And I second Carol R's comment - correct underthings are a sadly overlooked part of the average reenactor's kit. More props to you! :)
