JENNIFER

"Before my mom died in 2014, she gave me her china. When my husband and I moved into our new house in 2015, I decided to make dining room curtains to match her Haviland Arbor pattern. I digitized the grapes and leaves and stitched onto an oatmeal linen."

The simple design of the curtains really shows off the embroidery to excellent advantage. They are lovely. Your personal story adds another dimension of 'home' to the curtains.

This is stunning! I am very impressed, especially since you digitized the design. You should win, but, unfortunately I don't think others realize the amount of talent, effort, and skill involved with this. Really, an excellent job!!!!!!!!!

Great use of the leaf design on the curtains - very striking. Great idea too, choosing to do this to go with your mother's china.
